The Neuropsychological Services for Neurological Conditions Clinic at the McGovern Medical School UTHealth is one of three clinics at the Children’s Learning Institute.

Who We Serve

The Neuropsychological Services for Neurological Conditions Clinic evaluates both children and adults with a wide variety illnesses affecting the central nervous system and cognitive function. Our clinical practice serves children age six and up, along with adults. Patients are referred from neurologists, neurosurgeons, and other medical practitioners in Houston and the surrounding area.

Services Offered

The center strictly evaluates cognition, including learning disabilities in children and adults who have had a medical problem that affects cognitive function. It does not offer treatment or therapy.

Meet Our Staff

The clinic is headed by Clinical Psychologist, Dr. Joshua I. Breier. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Houston with a degree in Clinical Neuropsychology and did his internship and fellowship at the University of Florida Medical School in Gainesville, Florida.

Dr. Joshua Breier will be retiring effective August 31, 2021.
