Dr. Mary Prasad is a pediatric neuropsychologist with the Dan L. Duncan Children’s Neurodevelopmental Clinic at the Children’s Learning Institute and conducts evaluations of children with developmental differences such as Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder and learning disabilities. Dr. Prasad also evaluates children with neurological disorders such as traumatic brain injury, seizure disorder and brain tumors. Dr. Prasad is an Assistant Professor at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston.

Her area of research is pediatric traumatic brain injury. She is principal investigator on a Department of Education grant that evaluates the role of the caregiver and home environment on outcome from traumatic brain injury in infants and toddlers. She is co-investigator on two National Institutes of Health-funded grants on outcome from traumatic brain injury in infants and school-aged children.
