Background

How does a program become Texas School Ready!™?

The State Center is pleased to announce that we are now taking requests to participate in the Texas School Ready!™ Program’s School Readiness Certification System for the 2008-2009 school year.

Please read the additional information on the Texas School Ready!™ website to learn about the Program.

If you are then interested in participating, please complete the short screening form “Request to Apply to the Texas School Readiness Certification System”. The form allows us to determine preliminary eligibility of early childhood education programs to be a part of the Texas School Ready!™ Program. Once you complete and submit the form, a member of the Texas School Ready!™ Program staff will contact you to conduct a short in-person phone interview. This interview will determine final eligibility to participate in the program.

If you are accepted, you will receive important information shortly thereafter about completing the Texas School Readiness Certification System.
