Entering Text
Text may be entered into the following applications: calendar, contacts, memos, and
tasks. There are several ways to enter
- The onscreen keyboard is
accessed by tapping an
application and then tapping
the ABC or 123 in the writing
area
- Graffiti 2 writing uses a special
set of strokes and allows you to
write directly on the screen. You
can access Graffiti 2 by drawing a
single stroke from the bottom of
the input area to the top of your
handheld screen.
- Text can be entered into
your computer and then
'synced' into any handheld
application.
- An external keyboard can
also allow you to input text
into the handheld.
IMPORTANT TIPS!
You must have a flashing cursor present on the handheld to enter text.
**The only exception is when using the notepad application.
Write letters on the left side of the input area and numbers on the right. Uppercase letters go in
the center.
You can access more information about entering text by going to the Home icon and then selecting
the Quick Tour.
