Texas School Ready!™

Background

How does a program become Texas School Ready!™?

To Whom It May Concern:

Thank you for your interest in the Texas School Ready! certification system. We have been working hard to secure the funding necessary to expand the system in order to accommodate increased demand from early childhood programs throughout the state. 

Unfortunately, at this time, we only have funding available to process applications for Texas School Ready! Project grantees and Pre-K Early Start grantees.  Since last year, demand for the system has grown to include more than 8,000 classrooms and we are currently funded to only process 5,000 classroom applications. Therefore, we are unable to process additional requests to participate in the certification process until the Texas legislature has appropriated additional dollars to allow us to accept more applicants.

In an effort to compile a list of facilities that are interested in the Texas School Ready! certification system, we would appreciate your taking the time to fill out some information for us.   We would like to hear from both new facilities and those previous participants who are denied participation at this time because they are not part of either grant.   Please click on the TSR! ribbon to complete the form.
