TEA Grant
The Texas Education Agency funded teacher training, child assessment, and mentoring for sites across Texas. Mentor/facilitators receive five days of training on the eCIRCLE online course and PDA assessments. CIRCLE staff provides a two day language and literacy training for teachers in the project. The teachers continue their professional development by attending and participating in the eCIRCLE online course.
CIRCLE consultants, site mentor/facilitators, and teachers work closely to improve all areas of the classroom. Each site is mandated to have a strong language and literacy curriculum in place as a component of this grant.
